How can I use an Xbox 360 controller, why they havent made that an option god only knows

I was able to play Skyrim (GOG version) with an Xbox 360 controller without issue. In fact, I found it more comfortable than using keyboard and mouse to play Morrowind/OBlivion.

Unfortunately, the rest of the series doesn't support controllers on PC.

NorthernUI mod for Oblivion now allows full controller support. Took me back being able to play it on a 360 controller. There are also mods to revert it to regular Oblivion UI since this looks more like Skyrim, like one was like NorthernUIAway. Anyway, works perfectly, control wise. Gotta get a mod for the favorites wheel, then you're good to go.
