Im pretty new in the mods world, and i only modded games on steam via vortex, from nexus mode. If i purchase Oblivion on gog shall vortex see it as compatible?

Yes you can, I've used it before. It is not the best way to mod Oblivion but it is the easiest.

Yes, you can. But be advised some Oblivion mods are packed in such a way that modern mod managers can't properly install them. I repacked more than a few older Oblivion mods to make them work with Vortex.
