One thing that I know about Arena, the first game in the series, is that bladed weapons only do half damage to skeletons, but blunt weapons do full damage. My question is, do liches have the same resistance? (If so, this actually affects the strategy, as it becomes important to have a blunt weapon late game. On the other hand, spellcasters can use spell absorption and powerful spells to kill them quickly, and non-spellcasters could find a way to get access to spell reflection in order to deal with them.)

Anyone know if liches resist bladed weapons in Arena?
According to this: http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Lich_(Arena[/url]), their only resistances are invisibility, and any weapon that isn't mithril or silver

Edit: I'm having some difficulty posting links. I'll try again here: http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Lich_(Arena)

Edit 2: that didn't work. You should be able to get the web address by eyeballing it.

Here's your link for easier browsing.

Now how did I do it? In a nutshell: It's not your fault. Very much like the Necronomicon, GOG's forums are not made to be used by the living. You have to manually encode certain special characters if you want those links to work. You will also have to do this every single time you want to edit a post, so making a copy of your post to notepad or similar software before you make a post can save you lots of tedious extra work.
Also, if/when others quote you those links will appear to be broken in their post. But hey: You can log in with facebook now... :/

Hm. Let me test this by pasting the web address of this thread:
https://www.gog.com/forum/elder_scrolls_series/arena_do_liches_resist_bladed_weapons
This has worked well. Now I post this message and have a look at the result.

Edit:
The link is there and clickable.
There must be a reason why it doesn't work for you. PC? OS? Setting? Keyboard? Firewall? No idea. All I can tell you is that I have a standard Win10 laptop (German) with a German keyboard and Norton AV.

Links without hashtags, parenthesis, colons, etc. will work just fine.
