Has anyone got the latest patch?
Mine is still 1.0.5-p17.5.1.

Is there any delay for the Offline Backup Game Installers version just because I'm not using Galaxy?

My game just updated.

If it is not updating for you, do a Verify/Repair, the update should download after that.

So they really haven't updated it. Thought it was only me. Hopefully it won't take long.
Thanks for confirming.
Still no update, 2 days after release.

I'm on linux and rely on offline installers. I can't play further without fixing the game-breaking recruitment issue that this patch addresses, and I shouldn't have to mod my game just to do this when the patch was released days ago. Submitted a support request yesterday but haven't gotten a response.

Is maintenance of game installers and patches usually this hitt and miss for gog?

Sharing the same sentiment here. I researched and read that Galaxy updates faster because of being pushed by developers themselves or something like that. That creates the difference from Offline Backup Installer.

Also why I don't want to end up using Galaxy because I still haven't thrown away my possibility of migrating to Linux.

Had submitted a support request yesterday too. Still no reply.

Can't imagine if every single time patches and updates had to take this long.

Good news: It's updated.
Not so good news: v1.0.5-p17.5.6 just got announced LOL :(
Offline Backup Installer v1.0.5-p17.5.6 is available now.
Why are there no patch files? It's ridiculous to make us download the entire game every time there's an update.

I guess they really push their Galaxy.

Galaxy defeats the purpose of GoG existing in the first place. Offline installers are the only advantage that GoG has.
