YES, I have had 2140 on CD-ROM for so many years but never been able to get it to work properly.
Im just wondering, does LAN work in this version? I know other XP versions dont.

No, when you try to run the multiplayer, it gives out the error message, that the multiplayer is no longer supported. LAN doesn't work either.

aaaw thats to bad.... ill just get back to work on my cd version then.... I guess I know a bit more then last time I tried

As far as I know there were never any multi - it was only in the far future plans in some patch (and that what this message sads) but then they take care of 2150 so the have no more reasons to support old 2140 :)
Btw Jaxx - awsome! No longer suppoerted? What version do you have? :) But i can understand that people do not read those messages any more :(

Well, you are wrong. The game had multiplayer from the very beginning, it ran on the former Topware servers, so it is obvious why the message "no longer supported" pops up. I used to play it in 1997, when Earth 2140 was new, so don't talk gibberish.
