I just bought the Earth 2150 trilogy and when it told me to press the F1 key to open the production menu (or something like that) the game crashed tot he desktop, confused i tried again, this time using the in-game interface, the same thing happned(proving that the problem is the game). Is this a common problem or am i jus the only one who's experienced this?(i'm using windows 7)
(and yes i have tried running as administrator and in compatability mode)
UPDATE: After a few google searches and reading other forums it appears that this game is incopatible with widescreen resolutions, meaning that any resolution higher than 1204X786 will cause the game to crash, it sucks i know but it looks like we won't be playing this one in widescreen

I have had the exactly same problem, and I too would love knowing how to fix this. Since the production menu seems a very vital part of the game.

As per the other forum posts on this problem, don't use a widescreen resolution and probably don't go higher than 1024x768. Yes, I know, that's low res these days, but it's an older game.

Exactly, I was about to tell. There is another thread by a guy named Flemm or something. He has run some tests as to which resolutions works and which doesn't. I'm currently running it in 600x800 no problem. :)
