In the new game, is there any mention of them fixing the serious gameplay issues? I haven't heard anything to indicate that they will fix anything except the graphics.
Yes, they fixed the serious gameplay issues.

Really? Which ones specifically?
This is such an important question that I have to respond.

To my understanding, they fixed ALL the serious gameplay issues!

Is there anyone involved with this game at all who isn't a complete immature child?

Clearly there is no interest in fixing this games issues. When it flops, you will sit around and blame everyone else except yourselves. In the condition it is in now, the game sucks. If it isn't going to be fixed, the sequel will suck. It's too bad. It could be a really good game, but unfortunately, it suffers from the same problems that plague most games made by insular little cliques of dorks.

Could you mention a few of the issues your talking about?

For all that this game is NOT one of my favorites it still is pretty good. Especially for being the work of mostly one person.

I am also just not sure what gameplay issues you think need fixing, or if it's just a matter of your preference for something different than what is there. I actually started a thread about some of the things I disliked about the game but I wouldn't consider them "Issues" really as many other ppl like them as is.

The only real Issues I just thought of were things like the game crashing often or not being playable for odd reasons on certain systems. I am pretty sure that this would be fixed with a newer release but who knows.

Does anyone else see the irony in this post?

Actually I just remembered one play issue that crops up from time to time and that is how some province buildings disappear with no notice. I don't mean ones like the sawmill burning or pub burning but just one turn some building is there and the next time you look it's gone. I have not been able to see a pattern to these either.

Are you sure it's not an earthquake event that did it? From a programming standpoint, a bug like that seems very unlikely to happen without some major memory corruption (enough to crash the game).

Well Disciples 3 has seen a massive change in gameplay so there's no wonder you wouldn't like it.

What issues are we talking about here exactly?

Earthquake can destroy up to 2 buildings in provinces.
