I now have more than 3000 glory.

But I still don't have the offer to exchange glory for energy.
Do I need to wait till I have more glory?
I can't find conditions for first offer. I hear rumor that you must get at least "Master of Astral" title.
You can send Zarr for additional energy when you have more than 2000 glory.
Best offers - when you have more than 4000 glory.

Gremlion: Offer at around 3000 glory total.
And you can ask him for more each 500, afaik.
Gives 250 energy. With Astral energy generation I had enough to use Fairy+hunter bow on each shard.

taltamir: why would you ever use a bow over a crossbow?
If the best bow artifact you can get is better than the best x-bow magic item, it seems like a slam dunk.

To be more general though, I sometimes find (depending on other specifics) that the +1 range I get on the bow can be more important than the Armor Piercing that goes with the crossbows. This is especially true going up against spell casters in the early game and/or on smaller maps.

I wonder if Glory also has any role in determining your final score at the end of a campaign game? The only explanation I got when I lost my first campaign game was that I'd conquered 12 Shards, had 800 Glory, and had a score of 16. That suggests Glory figures into the final score, but it's not spelled out anywhere...

Yes, it's always nice to be able to kill that pesky shaman before he curses your hero. Or that pesky sorcerer before he raises a ghoul.

Or even before he gets the first strike in using a magic attack. Since they can cast spells or launch attacks, and they can move 2 squares, it's often the case that whoever stops 6 squares away can make the other one "commit" by walking one square closer first (assuming you only have a range of 4, that is).

Sorry to necro old thread, but figure better than create new one for same topic.

I got 1 portrait offer from Zarr, and I can ask him to find clients who want to buy the right to use my name - is that it? I think I had both of these before 3000 glory, but I haven't had any further options to generate energy from glory, and I have over 4000 now.

Yup, that's the event to sell glory for energy.
