Previous game http://www.gog.com/forum/eador_series/scg_i:

Basic rules:
1. No cheating.
2. Player "eats sausage" for 10 turns (max, if you don't know what to do after 5 turns, post 5 turn save), writes down everything that happened in the game and leaves save for next.
3. Player can't take same game in a row. Doesn't implement to solidified sausages.
4. Save goes to first asked for. First come, first served.
5. Player must post save in 2 days after taking. If player haven't posted save in 2 days, next player can take it.

Large map rules:
1. Player can hold game for up to 15 turns.
2. Events: you can leave events, which insignificantly change situation. Example: pilgrims gave useless artifact, bless them, sell. You can skip changes in gold/crystals amount if it less than 10% of total amount. (example - you have more than 250 crystals, you can skip all "hire healers" events)

Roleplay is welcomed.
Usually these games thematically based, like "evil units only" or "good units only". For first game I will leave this aside.

Technical information.
1. You need to extract mapX.sav and gameX. sav in your save folder.
2. You need to play from profile with number=X+1. IE First profile uses game0.save. Second profile uses game1.save. I recommend to start new sausages at least on second profile.
3. After 10 turns upload gameX.sav on fileshare service. I recommend to use dropbox.com, it will store files until you decide to delete them. Shameless referral link(+500mb for me and you): http://db.tt/i45eHyL1
4. You don't need to reupload mapX.sav, it doesn't changes through the game.

SCG 2
Expert, 7 random expert opponents, large map, disabled diplomacy, default generation settings.

You aren't very confident with swordsmen :\
Basically, necromancers were a free money for scout. Kill sorcerer and ghoul, skellies and zombies barely damage them.
I thought about conquering last province of first ring and then attack Free settlement with Iron - pretty easy, they can't damage swordsmen at all.
I think I would replay from 14 turn save with video.
I'll take the next one, gonna play it now. -289 gold, yikes!

29. Attacking first Necro site. Oinor has been defeated and banished! Walter, wtf...Looted 200 gold and a hunting bow! Also a sleep spell. The skillies and zombies hurt quite alot actually, but it was only 5 enemies total.
30. Going to Free Settlement on Iron hills.
31. Attacked it, 13 enemies, looted 100 gold, healers medal and defenders medal. Was no problem at all thanks to the hills terrain. Scout level 6, took pathfinding.
32. Attacking Battlemages site, looted 250 gold and Bandits bow! (the one with +1 looting) This was a bit risky, could have gone bad, luckily they mostly attacked the scout.
33. Going to centaur province, 7 centaurs, they don't want an alliance, leaving.
34. Attacked Brigand outlaws province next to the iron, looted 50 gold, Scout level 7, taking pathfinding 2.
35. Attacked Orcs province, looted 22 gold.
36. Attacked Goblins province, 7 enemies (goblins, basilisk, slugger), retreated! Ammo is broken.
37. Moving to swamp next to demesne. Harpies demand children from demesne, gave in to their demand, now our people hate us!
38. Attacked forest with wood, Prince's lands, 8 enemies, guardsman,horseman...no problem, looted 110 gold, 1 defenders medal.
39. Built Tavern. Attacked Adventures Site, 7 enemies, dwarfs were tough, looted 450 gold, gloves +3 hitpoints, Phoenix Guard contract. 1 defenders and healers medal. Scout level, pathfinding 3.
40. ???

Thus ends my reign. Went pretty well! Great loot. And I managed to remove Oinor by simply being there! We have 565 gold, maybe second hero? Possibly a wizard, we have tons of crystals? Or built a crystal to get a quest, we have lots of goblins and skeletons. The scout could attack Holy lands, could work with fatigue on the executioner, unsure. Maybe time to return to the demesne and repair ammo, can get there fast now with pathfinding 3, get more swordsmen. Goblins province in ring 2 with 7 enemies could be beaten I guess. Maybe the other Necromancers site in the demesne, or even swamp creatures.

Alot of options for the next guy!

Started from my save, killed both necromancers, conquered swamp in first ring and then Iron. Probably cleared sites in province with Iron.
Video coming... not very soon, saving/producing takes ages.

I am still at my first campaign...Evil, Competent...and the last SG was my first expert game :)

No experience with Swordsman and only few experience with the Expertdifficulty made me very cautios
...as i noticed that i won't have enough money to replace looses.

And i have realy bad memory from early Ghoul encounters :)

So...i thought i play save...explore do some easy sites to gather some cash, i never expected such a row of bad luck^^

I will take it again...and try harder this time ;)

6 turns of ENDURING.

Blame camtasia for some glitches after first battle.
Pretty interesting to see you do the same battles differently. On the first necromancer site I placed the scout bottom left, because nobody would come there through the swamps and he could shoot down the sorceror. The units I placed top left, so they could stand on plains and guard the healer. That went a little better. Could kill the ghoul before it attacked anyone.

The site with 7 units I would not have dared. Pretty well done!

The free settlement I attacked from the hills province, which made it much easier because the swordsmen could defend on hills, there I had no danger of losing anyone at all.

The battlemages you did much better, it was total chaos for me, could have lost some swordsmen there. Forgot to use the healer this way.

PS: Don't you use the CPU slowdown to make the game run smooth? It looks choppy like when I play with 100% cpu power.
It is choppy because of screen recording. Losing focus, popups, misclics...
Without camtasia game flows like spice.

I watched your video and it demonstrated again the great ability of the swordsman to suck damage, as i had to notice during my "2. Rule".

I am allready thinking about resigning my competent campaign and start a new expert to learn more about "The possible and the impossible" at expert ...but i am still hesitant to throw 28 conquered shards away^^

Anyway...wish you fun and good luck with the events ;)

You can change difficulty of your campaign in astral.

I wanted to get attack from ghoul, actually - attacked unit starts to lose health and have weaker counterattack - would take more attacks from other undead. Take damage, heal back with healer - prerequisites for medals of resilience and healer. It was a safe bet.
Very good, DF, things are going well I think!

@Gremlion Very smart, I was too afraid of loosing stuff to do things like that in this fight.
