Hmm, not sure what to do about it. I have no idea what could cause that. I tried to replicate it, but Chrome doesn't give a warning before starting the download, and I don't want to download the whole file again. It might have something to do with the fact that Mega encrypts the files even during download. Only when the download it complete will it be decrypted with the included key and saved as a regular file. I assure you though, no virus is included. :-)

Doesn't bother me, since I'm quite far into a campaign and I'm going to have to risk the switch-versions-in-the-Astral gamble. :)

BTW, the more I've played New Horizons, the more I like it. Every change seems to have been well considered, and well implemented.

Can you play a campaign with this mod?

I remember that a year ago, this mod would crash the campaign and could only be used with random maps. It's good to know New Horizons is fixed and has been further improved. Maybe it's time to dive in.

Patch 2.22 has been released in the English New Horizons 14.1228 thread. It fixes some relatively important bugs, so make sure to get it soon.

Wow...thanks to this mod, to the translation project and for keeping the translation project alive. I prefer Eador Genesis over Masters of a Broken World (I dont care abut 3D updates). But this mod made playing Genesis so much more fun. Good sprites, top upgrade system, funny new events and, and, and....

Even if I get beaten by the AI again and again (yeah..I am one of those decadent western weaklings)...I start again and again....

Yes, it does. All released patches include the fixes from previous patches. All one ever needs to do to install the New Horizons mod is to copy the main mod files and the latest patch.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone involved in this translation and ongoing work. I myself was trying to translate the new version (about a year ago) but one file has an enormous amount of text (dialog.var?), and I don't speak Russian either.
Time to crank it up again :)

Not sure if this is the place for it, but have been trying patch 2.31 on Windows 8 and find that I get a crash when a beholder tries to fire a shot. Otherwise a solid mod.
