Hi all,
I have a question about this fantastic game. I did not play for a long time, just tutorials and few really bad games at skirmish. I want to learn more about mechanics. And I'm wondering what should I do to create more powerfull units. I need it to plan my development in capital city.
Second question is about fort. Anyone knows what buildings are needed to build fort? I know it's 4 building of specyfic type, but really it's not clear for me, which type.

Well, to build a fort you just have to select it and add it as "planned building". Then the prereqs are marked on the building pics.
Only exception is in Campaign, you first have to unlock the building by winning an early shard (one of the "nearest" one in Astral map)

PDF: Good point - just plan to build fort and wait. That is nice option. I must check which buildings are needed.

You need any 4 of first tier unit-producing buildings to upgrade the fortifications. The ones in military quarter.

Obviously there are some good sources of game info on EADOR. Why is there no rules book with the game. Also, why is TUTORIALS not labeled in the came instead of being hidden under CAMPAIGN? Clearly a great game but we should not have to learn it by trial and error. Took me months to stumble over this forum. The link to buildings was great. I hate my high school now for not giving us a Russian teacher when we asked for one. Thanks to everyone who has helped fill in at least some of the missing rules book here.
