Started a new game, & haven't played this one in awhile. My first venture outside the tower and every zombie anywhere near me is going red agro on the minimap and chasing me wherever I go...I don't remember the zombies at the beginning doing this at all? I obviously don't have the gear to take on a hundred zombies off the bat just to go setup the traps on the cars at the start. Any idea what's going on?

Halloween online event ongoing, special items to win from Left4Dead, exclusive gameplay, quatermaster give free guns, safe zones give unlimited normal munitions.

If you don't want to participe, before launching a savegame you to go (sorry if it is not the good terms I don't play in english) :
Options >> Online >>> Deactivate "Community Event Participation"

Techland will close the Event the 28th.

One year on, this explains so much... Except the part where I'd turned community event participation off in the Options and it somehow got turned back on.
