Does the GOG version of Dying Light support Galaxy cloud save? If it doesn't, will it ever?
it would appear not currently

Ok, thanks for the reply. Let's hope that there are plans to add cloud saving to DL on GOG, I'd really like to re-purchase it here (already have it on Steam)

Yeah, it's a shame that there is no crossplay...
A little bump for this request
I understand the developers. They go the extra mile by adding galaxy multiplayer, bonus content, achievements and drm free and then most gog users are saying "go away, this drm steam like bullshit, galaxy is evil". so why should the developers care? I love galaxy, i use it a lot. but most gog users seems to hate it. So i understand the developers. and i think that techland allready invested much more time in to gog than most other developers, even the free content drops like the prison heist is here on gog. techland is amazing. but they probably have the stats about galaxy usage and see "look, nobody is actually using galaxy, so no cloud save needed".

I kind of agree, when it comes to stuff like Achievements. But Cloud Saves, on the other hand, don't (usually) require that much effort to be implemented (and in fact, in many old games, I suspect it's GOG staff directly who adds them). In an open world game like Dying Light being able to preserve your 150h save is important and I still hope they think about it :)

Well you always have to search a lot for the local saves of steam games, because they use Numbers.......but on gog you have the local saves in the windows documents folder. And it is tiny, so you could save it on a floppy disc.^^

Sure, you can backup everything manually (that's what I do for games without CS) but that doesn't mean that asking for an official cloud-based hassle-free solution is "useless". I mean, if they don't want to add it I can't (and wouldn't, if I could) force them, but as a person who plays on two different computers I'd much appreciate the feature in as many games as possible. But yeah, we can all live without it haha

Of Course it would be great. I love that feature. It helped me a lot in the past. Sometimes i just forget to transfer the saves from another laptop and then the battery it not full. So being able to play my games right away is great. And of course there are games wo are difficult to backup locally, red faction guerilla for example, has a very weird save system, cloud save is great for this title. And for casual games like fallout shelter, cloud saves are a must, so dont worry, i am on your side.
Just FYI, cloud saves have finally been added to Dying Light on GOG!
