Playing under linux, and it defaults to a full-screen mode that is somewhat confused by my four monitors. Which seems fair. Is there a way to run the game in windowed mode?

It's funny because we debated at the last second whether or not to start in FS or windowed (it originally defaulted to windowed, but we all voted FS, ha). When you get the Unity Launcher before the game starts (to select resolution, et al), there should be an option to choose "Windowed" to launch it windowed. Alternately, ALT+ENTER should toggle between.

Let me know if neither of those options help. Thanks!
I don't get a Unity launcher on startup, and alt-enter is just treated as an enter (i.e., it activates the selected menu option.)

I found an option in my window manager to force it to run in windowed mode, but no matter how I resize the window, the game seems to think that the window is wider than it is; it chops off the left and right edges of every screen. I'm attaching a partial screenshot, in hopes that makes it clearer what I'm talking about.

Hmm. Ok, I don't know why you aren't getting a Unity Launcher. I'll need to check into that. Meanwhile, can you see if adding the following command line option forces the launcher to show up:

-show-screen-selector

Your image looks like an issue we had at one point with some resolutions. If you can get the launcher to open, then we can see what resolution/aspect ratio it's using that causes that. Hopefully that only affects the menus, and not the game, itself.

Sorry about this, and thanks for your patience while we work it out :)
Just a heads up - we are looking into this. The command-line option I offered likely won't help (based on our tests). Sorry about this...there does seem to be some quirk about the GoG Linux version. We are trying to resolve it :)
As you suspected, that didn't work (but figured it was worth a try...) The problem does affect gameplay screens as well as the menu, but it's mostly playable (a few screens, like the modify screen, I have to guess at the lefthand panel...)

Tried bypassing the start.sh script and running Duskers_linux from the command-line - same problem, but a bit of text feedback that maybe will help some:

~/GOG Games/Duskers/game$ ./Duskers_linux -show-screen-selector

BTW - the 64 bit build seems to be correctly showing the launcher. It wasn't up on GoG because of an issue in our release process this morning, but we are working on getting that one up as soon as possible. That might be all you need, or at least help!
New release this morning (64-bit? not sure...) seems to fix the problem - I now get the menu, that lets me pick a resolution, which monitor I want it on, and windowed mode. I know you guys weren't doing this _just_ for me, but thanks all the same!
