Is it really possible to quick save / load in Strahd's Possession? The manual says that "s" and "shift-r" do it, but those keys don't do anything for me. The only hotkeys I've found are "p" (for pause) and "t" (for time).

Thanks for any help.

The manual may say otherwise but AFAIK there is no quick saving in Strahd's Possession.
The manual says:

Quick Save: By pressing the “s” key on your computer keyboard, you “quick save” your game without having to work through menu choices. This option saves your game, without a title, to a special quick save position. By pressing “Shift-r” you can restore this “quick saved” game.

This saves the game in the "SAVE00" directory where the game is installed. You can only save and restore in this quick save slot with s and Shift+R keys respectively.
Yes, that manual does say that. It still doesn't work in the game, though.

Teaches us not to believe everything, that has been written down.
I have the CD-ROM version 1.2A and it works in this version (I'm running dosbox 0.74 in Windows XP SP3), as I don't have the GOG version I'm not sure what version the GOG version is, maybe a GOG owner of the game can confirm what version they are running?

You're right.

I don't know what I did wrong, when I tried it the last time, but now it works fine. Both, in GOG's version and the original CD-ROM version 1.2A running in DosBox 0.74 in WIn10.
