I am at the beginning of the game and my mouse constantly stops working. Without the mouse, I can't get into any of the menus. Anyone know what the mouse problem is?

What type of mouse do you have?
Does the problem occur when using other programs?
Is this occurring with other DOSBOX games?


The only mouse issue I know of with Strahd's Possession is the annoying tendency to auto-click the "Play Introduction" tab on the menu when you escape out of the intro, causing a loop.

I had some strange issues involving the mouse also. While my problem was different then yours, maybe it will help?

I went to the graphics options in GOGs Ravenloft launcher, and checked the 'keep aspect ratio' box

You may have hit the Space Bar, which switches off the mouse interface and puts you in Mouse Movement mode. Pressing Space again will let you move the mouse around the screen.
