so i got dungeon keeper gold edition for free (thats the only reason i made an account a year ago on the off chance DK gets for free)

and i tried to get keeperFX to work. i downloaded deamon tools lite renamed game.gog to keeper.iso mounted the keeper folder and putted it in the folder and when i try to install keeper fx it dosent work because (i think) of deeper dungeons. now i have no idea what to do. i cant find any other .iso or .gog so im stumped..help?

Read this KeeperFX Install Guide, it will explain a far simpler method that doesn't require you to mount anything.

If you have any questions about the install procedure, feel free to ask in that thread.

I'm not sure what you're doing, but it doesn't sound like you have installed it correctly.

That file is included as part of the KeeperFX 0.4.4 Complete installation. It should be in the folder.

The dll you're mentioning isn't included in GOG's version, but in the original CD version. But if you need it, there's a way to get it.
Extract it from the Dungeon Keeper 1 Demo. Here are some download links:

The demo is only 12.5 MB, so there's no need to download an EXE or DLLs from an unreliable source.

EDIT: As devilhood claimed to be the uploader, the files are probably okay. If anybody feels unsafe, just upload them to www.virustotal.com for an online check.

DeMignon: Maybe, but I wouldn't download an dubious EXE file from Mediafire to get some DLL ;-) Better stick with the official demo from a more reliable download source.
I understand that you're trying to help, but I packaged that archive and uploaded it personally onto my own MediaFire account.

It's absolutely fine, and I certainly wouldn't paste any links and files publicly that are untested.

If people are worried, here is the 7zip archive instead.

ok so i got all the dlls but now it says that SDL.net.dll is missing!

It sounds like you only installed the patch for KeeperFX, not the complete version.

It has to be the "Complete" 0.4.4 release, otherwise it will not work. It is 461 MB in size.
