Hi, I got Dungeon Keeper 2 on sale just before, Downloaded the game, and when I boot it up I get a black screen with sound. I can move the mouse around and hear noises like im at the main menu or something. Whats the deal with this? I thought gog was supposed to make this game more stable on win 7?

Try this updated graphics patch by Timeslip http://timeslip.users.sourceforge.net/temp/DK2-patch-v4.7z

Here is my config file in case it helps http://www.mediafire.com/download/l2v9uehi9wi4jrr/GOG.7z

The config file is located in c:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\GOG\DungeonKeeper2\ My one has antialiasing and anisotropy enabled.

Run the game using DKII-DX.exe, if the game crashes or you experience any other problems try compatibility mode for Windows XP SP3.

sorry to hear. let us know if you're able to fix it.
Did you try compatibility mode?
Hey!
I had this very same problem, and it got repaired when I checked the 640x480 resolution in the compatibility options under preferences
=D I hope that helps you!

Setting 640x480 worked also for me. But, given that the game supports up to 1024x768, isn't there a better way to make the game work?
