Droid crew are great because you can scavenge them. Finding the first one is the hard part.

I discovered that AI planets, however, sometimes sell them. So, if you complete the first challenge sector, the second challenge includes AI by default. Help out AI long enough, and one of their planets should eventually have a droid for sale. :)

I prefer the living crew, since they can level up. :)

Pityesz: I prefer the living crew, since they can level up. :)
Doubt that they would level over 100. And you can scavenge legendary level 100 droid.

I never tried since I was always enemy with the Scavangers. Nov I have a Brunt and an other crew item. Both of them increasing every stats about 40 each. I'm happy with that even they are not Legendary class.
