Just started the game.

I put two points into the goldfish ability.

I found a couple in the open areas no problem.(they were nice and easy to see)

Went into the Tomb and got a message that there's a goldfish nearby. Had to fight some skeletons then had an icon flash up saying you have 10 seconds to find the goldfish.

I didn't find it.

Do they disappear after a certain length of time?

If I load a saved game will they still be in the same place or some other random place in the 'zone'?

If I had just the one point in the fish ability do I still get the timer?

Thanks in advance

Don't worry, the goldfish don't change places (unless you start over from a saved game, where you haven't yet been to an area). Here's what I think happened: You noticed the message in a pretty tight spot, and that's why you miss-read it a little bit. (If you're certain you read the text 10 somewhere, the reason may be that you've accidentally already picked up the goldfish, and you've gotten 10 of something as your special goldfish treat.)

When you have the ability, the goldfish icon will tell you HOW CLOSE you are to the fish, not a measure of time. The icon gets bigger when you get closer to the magical little thing, and vanishes once you've picked it up or get too far from it.

So try returning to the very same location, and keeping your eyes wide open. I hope this helps! :)

I could have sworn it was seconds, and as a result thought they disappeared after a certain length of time.

I just tried again and the message is 1 second remaining when I rest the mouse on the fish icon on the left hand side of the screen??

Thanks for taking the time to reply. Nice relaxing game to play. Thanks for making it !

Ah, I see it now! It's a technicality that I didn't think would show, it's just that the particular message will be visible for 1 second before it will be replaced by a new message, probably the same message, since it checks for the goldfish locations every one second. Better fix the message for the next version.

Thanks for clearing that up. Much appreciated
