Anyone else noticing obscure/interesting references in the game? There are fairly obvious ones like a character named Rince probably referring to Rincewind, but I spotted this one:
In the alchemy lab in Northrop there are 3 coloured liquids on a bench. When examined, the player character says "Red, green and blue. My father has a theory that these are the basic components that make up Driftmoon." These are the colour channels of a monitor, so the games visuals are made up of red, green and blue. But they are also the 3 'flavours' of the quarks that make up the "matter particles" (fermions?) of the universe. So, in a sense, the physical universe as we know it is made up of the basic components red, green and blue.
So is Winston (if that was his name) a particle physicist as well as an alchemist?
