1.7.6 is indeed the current version, you can easily recognize the enchanted edition by starting the game.

Thanks for noticing the typo!

ville.monkkonen: Good news! The Enchanted Edition has passed validation at GOG, and will be released early next week, possibly on tuesday. As a special favor for our GOG players (we love you all), we've added GOG achievements! :)
A game from 2013, with an update that added support for Linux, Super!
I just discovered Driftmoon, thank you.

I’d like to know, is Driftmoon Enhanced Edition 64-bit?
Thank you:-)

Linux version is 64 bit, yes. We've uploaded a 32 bit windows binary today, will need a bit of testing to release it.

Super :-D
What a chance to get an answer from the Developer thanks!
I take this opportunity for another question, If I may ;)

The game is totally translated into French by: Targus
It is of very good quality, a huge job, technically very difficult.
is you guessed my request;)
If you found time, would it be possible to add it to Driftmoon?
It will be really a plus, especially for a game that has so much humor.

Thank you for your quick response, for the 64Bit
Thank you for allowing me to discover Driftmoon with this Linux version!
See you soon with your next game :-)

Sadly there is no way to include the translation in the new build. We would have loved to include mod support, but unfortunately it wasn't possible with the Unity engine we chose to use (we chose it to be able to support multiple platforms, like linux & Mac). Many of the required tools are completely based in the developer's machine, and for example lightmapping (shadows and lights) would not have been possible in the mods. Targus' mod actually had to change many of the hard coded texts inside the game by completely rewriting the game executable, so those would not of course have been possible to keep.

But luckily by using the vanilla version of Driftmoon (for PC only), the translation and the other mods are still available. This is the main reason we were very happy GOG agreed to include also the vanilla version as an added bonus.

But we'll keep translation support in mind for our next game. It's a costly business, a single language translation for a text heavy game might cost more than the whole game will make. But it's a possibility if we ever make a game with only the interface to translate.

It’s really nice to be able to understand.
You chose the most important, the Linux version.

For your next game, don’t ruin yourself, there are certainly people who would like to help you.
I have already seen the translation work offered for free, out of passion for a game.
Thank you again for your answer, I wish you the best.

I have! :)
It's just a few bugfixes. Some sliding doors could sometimes get stuck, and one user reported Blotch not wanting to open the village entrance.
thank you and keep up the good work!
Looks like a great game; I'm glad I found it.
