Somewhere around this path, no sure on the application number...

C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\GOG.com\Galaxy\Applications\49987265717041704\Storage\Shared\Files

It's probably quicker if you search for "ddda.sav" on the drive you installed the game on.
yep thats it, application number is the same too
thanks a lot :)

Galaxy is not installed. Will I find the saved game on this same location or is there a special directory for non-Galaxy users.

I'll try an install without galaxy and get back to you, but that'll take another day or so. Have you tried letting windows search for the ddda.sav?
Okay, I removed the game from my harddisk, downloaded the offline installer and did a clean install with Galaxy being turned off.
As soon as I start the game, it boots up Galaxy, synches the savegame from the cloud and pops it back into the directory mentioned above. I'm afraid I can't give you anything more specific, as I'm unwilling to repeat the shenanigans with Galaxy uninstalled, but I assume it will create the save directory regardless.
Hi,

if somebody still wonders:
On my non-Galaxy installation the save-games are stored here:
C:\Users\Standard\AppData\Local\GOG.com\Galaxy\Applications\49987265717041704\Storage\Shared\Files

To locate this, just search for DDDA.sav on your c-drive (or wherever else your user files are located).

Also,
there is a mod, which allows a normal save-game handling:
http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonsdogma/mods/40/?

I havent tried yet. I can live with manual copying for the moment. But it is supposed to let you specify the savegame folder, so it should work with the gog versions, too.

For me, the save-system is one of the few flaws in this game.

As for the online-functions:
I also cannot play online, so we may need galaxy for that. I read of that bevore buying. It didnt bother me much, since I never wanted to play online in the first place. But it has a bad taste to it, somehow...
Hi there,

I want to migrate my games from Win7 to Win10, but i still can't find DDDA.sav on my Win7-PC.
Found the config-file, but can't file the save-folder ...
Using the Non-Galaxy-Version.

Dragon's Dogma is a multiplayer based game, which means that the saves are tied to a Galaxy folder, even if you don't have Galaxy installed and use only offline mode (I do). They are located here:

%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\GOG.com\Galaxy\Applications\49987265717041704\Storage\Shared\Files\

Just copy/paste the above line into the run dialog.

I haven't found this path?
In %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\GOG.com is only the GoG.com-Downloader folder ...
No Galaxy-subfolder ...

Open Windows Explorer at your C: drive and search for DDDA.sav .

The save manager mod doesn't seem to work properly with the gog version, at least with the Galaxy-free edition.
even in the galaxy free (classic) version gog.com is now sneaking in galaxy elements.
shame on gog.com

on windows 7 from a non-GOG Galaxy download I found the save files for games and profiles in C:\Users\YourComputerAccountNameHere\Documents\My Games\Into the Breach
I don't use Galaxy. The main reason I buy from GOG is it's DRM and client free. If I wanted those things I'd have stayed with Steam.

My game is not installed on C drive but instead installed on a separate partition. So the offline installer save location for me is D:\Program Files\GOG Games\Serious Sam 4\UserData\0\SeriousSam4\SavedGames.
