I sincerely hope there will be updates coming at some point, because the main bugbear for me is the abysmally scripted sidequests.
For example, start 'sidequest A' only to fail it without realising because you've entered another area or plot point, then get offered other sidequests, let's call them 'B, C, D', that are rendered impossible to complete without 'sidequest A' being completed previously.
In a well scripted game which has a string of multiple quests linked to one another, failing at any point should render the rest of the string inactive, meaning the player doesn't get offered any subsequent quests of the same string. In this game, you still get offered those later quests, but have absolutely no way of completing them, because characters and locations mentioned never appear.
This is the kind of thing I might expect and be somewhat forgiving of, if it was an indie developer with an alpha release of a game, but this is a large developer with what's supposed to be a 'finished' product release.
