I'm a longtime player and am about to get the game here to see how it runs in comparison to the other platform versions. I've heard little of Dogma's standing and condition on GoG other than some serious server problems people were having in the game's opening months (still unclear about what was causing them).

One big curiosity I have is if the GoG release got the same 1gb update patch that the Steam version got to help it keep up with the ps4 and xbone release (as well as make it compatible with Japan and Taiwan). I'm also curious if there is a place for me to find the game's update log/history on GoG. I'm not seeing anything relating to it on the game's store page.

this is what i see in the changelog on galaxy not sure how big it was. or if it lines up with the patch you spoke of datewise

fixed an issue with saves sometimes becoming corrupted while switching between offline and online modes

i think you have to own it unless the game forum has changelogs posted by one of us gog users

no worries though i can say that the pawn rental is currently bugged
in that you dont seen to recieve any rental feedback after people rent your pawn (no rc, gifteditems, comments, etc)
though for myself i have seen that my pawn does have stars for unknown enemies
though you can rent pawns especialy of GoG friends who own/play the game

That's what i've heard on my disocrd group (i admin for Dragon's Dogma Central) The few gog users we've had there told the same thing, but it was months ago. I'm curious to finally get into it and see how the systems are working and any issues that once were and still persist.

Has there been any word from GOG on if they intend to update GOG copies of DDDA?

Does gog normally announce stuff like that for other games? I'm new to gog.
