So let me say, I'm loving this game so far. It's pretty immersive and I like the combat. However, I'm a litlte lost on what I'm suppose to be doing. I did a few quests in the starter area: kill rats, kill bandits, go to the glowing stone and learn you are the second coming of Christ, got my two pawns....now there is nothing really to do all of a sudden. Do I have to trigger the main story by doing something? I sorta ventured around and killed a ton of bandits thinking I'd find someone, but not much. There's guards at this archway that won't let me to the capital or something but yet the npcs in my party keep saying "this path leads to the capital!, lets go!"

I'm sure I'm missing something here, any advice?

Thanks all!
You need to talk with one of female NPCs at encampment (near the building where you got your main pawn, that NPC will have green sign near her), she will offer to rest. This should move the story further on.

Sometimes it`s a good thing to wander about and get "lost". this builds up your experience and makes you far more able to deal with problems you encounter. The game does not scale to you, if you meet something that`s way above your level you will be creamed every time.

I got lost for ages, but just went around killing things, exploring and gaining experience. When I started the main quest (just by accidentally bumping into the right people) I was cutting through enemies so easily I started wondering if I was on Easy mode!
