Will GOG ever get the other DA games?

Only if EA wants. So maybe, we could get the second one once DA 4 is released.

I certainly hope so because DA was a really cool game.
it's downhill after DaO anyway

I still wouldn't mind playing them.

I have DA: Inquisition. I have the disks, I have the box and codes. I have changed phones and computers and credit cards since I bought it years ago. I have given EA much information that no one could possibly have to verify myself being myself. But since I do not have my log in information for their platform "Origin", which the game requires to run, then my disks are nothing but expensive frisbees.

EA Origin is the curse and bane. No other game I have from long ago keeps me from playing them if I have the box with codes, the original disks, etc. But because I can't log into their overlooking web software, then the actual game software is
worthless.

If I could have the game without giving EA another cent, I would love to play it. Inquisition, from what I can remember, was very good. Origins (DA:Origins, not the platform Origin) was better, by some accounts, but still very good.

I have plenty of games and will buy plenty more. But if I see EA on the package, I'll not be giving them my cash.

The trick with Inquisition is to stick with MQ and companion personal quests. I gave up the first time after getting lost and bored with all the fetch side quests. When I went back, it was more focused and a much better experience.

yes its the same with Mass Effect: Andromeda... go off quest = the game falls apart and you get lost

This, pretty much. I disliked DA2 so much that I became extremely wary of future BioWare purchases. Then they pulled the ME3 launch day DLC fiasco and I never bought (or played) another BW game. And I'd been a loyal customer since Baldur's Gate.
I actually liked DA2. Yes, it has flaws. But the story and characters are enjoyable.
Well, I would love to be able to get all the other games through GOG. I'm a big sucker for everything dragon age related, for me it's one of the best RPG franchises out there. And yes, my favourite will probably always be origins, but I love the rest aswell.
That's the reason why i haven't even tried Dragon Age 2, because of Origin. It's probably the most annoying cloud game service ever, and EA is an absolute ass in general. If the other DA games would come to gog i would definately jump into them. But the whole origin and ea thing is so annoying that i haven't even consider buying them yet.
I guess my only choice is to just buy the other games elsewhere. Where would any of you suggest doing that?

Eventually you are going to need origins to play Inquisition.
