Hey folks.

I've been trying for months now to get a copy of DA:O from GOG to work properly, and I keep running into issues. I finally reinstalled the OS (Windows 10 64bit) from scratch, getting rid of all the other game installing apps (Steam, Origin, EA App) in the process.

Attempted to install via Galaxy but came up with a bunch of crashing errors and a failed install. Twice. So I downloaded the offline install files and installed it that way. Everything seemed to be working fine until I realized that some of the DLC isn't actually working. The promo pack items all showed up and Awakening is active now, after uninstalling and reinstalling everything, but Warden's Keep and Return to Ostagar DLC are now not functioning (no Levi Dryden in my camp, no map marker for Bann Loren's estate). Tried running the DLC + patch file for offline install again, and it just gives me a message saying everything is already installed. In the in-game list of DLC, Both DLC show up as enabled with the checkmark to make it active, as do all the other DLC. I don't know if any of the other DLC content installed properly as I haven't gotten there yet.

I really, really don't want to have to uninstall and reinstall this game again, but I'm frustrated enough that I'm about ready to just throw hands and quit trying.

Any assistance or advice would be appreciated.

DLC s on the firs Dragon Age are... tricky as hell.

this is a common problem in the forums .

Basically, you need to identify if the DLC are "validated" for the admin user who installed the game or your user (if is not admin).

Thanks for replying! Unfortunately, I don't think that's the issue here. There is only one account on this new OS install (the administrator account), and even right-click 'run as administrator' doesn't bring the DLC up. It's weird that some of it installed and loaded correctly but the rest didn't.
