This GOG version doesn't contain all the pre-order/collector's DLC? If so, this is would be the first incomplete game I've stumbled on in GOG. Great track record for GOG, but a shame nonetheless.

Edit: The sites atrocious software is playing funny buggers with the link, but you should be able to find it.

I thought the GOG version was the complete package which included everything. What's missing? The completionist in me needs to know :)

I checked on the link provided by olnorton and saw the following which implies that everything is there;
"All DLC's are included in the GOG version and is DRM free and doesn't require any authorization to use any DLC, however the collector edition items are release with a free patch."

Edit: Typos

I do not own the GOG version, so I wouldn't exactly know. I just did some research on the retail edition of the Ultimate Edition and found that it was lacking some content and since the GOG page didn't explicitly say it included the exclusive DLC, I assumed not.

Seems GOG missed out listing everything - but it is all there :)

Is it in the GOG release from the get-go, or do you have to download the stuff elsewhere to use with the GOG version?

No it's all in the GOG release. The extra stuff has been added as a patch file to the main download.

But to be sure, what specifically did you think was missing?

No, just the Amazon/Gamestop/etc. pre-order DLC in the wiki page that olnorton cited. I'll take your word that it's there.

OK, just double checked about the Collector's Edition items and A Tale of Orzammar bonus campaign items and the changelog reports that they are included;

"added missing DLCs : Collector's Edition Items and A Tale of Orzammar bonus campaign"

Thank you.

Mr_Whiffles: Thank you.
No problem - enjoy the game if you decide to get it :)
Yes, all the bonus content is there. The problem is that all the retailer-specific bonus items are high-priced -- meaning a mountain of gold for your low-level character if you sell them right away -- and overpowered if you equip them. My suggestion, unless you just want to be stupid powerful and roll through game, is to ditch or destroy all the bonus items right from the start and only use gear that you acquire "naturally".
