Looks good! The animations seems a bit stiffer than in The Cat Lady and it also looks rather shiny/glossy (not that that is necessarily a bad thing) but I'm definitely looking forward to my second stay at the Quiet Haven Hotel.

I don't recognize most of the scenes. That's good :) Knowing where the game takes place and guessing who's who could be really interesting. And it seems the dev doesn't try to hide original game from general public - I hope he has many tricks up in his sleeve.

Yep, it should make for a fun playthrough even if you've played the original version of Downfall. I wonder if it'll have voice acting and if so, will it feature Jesse Gunn reprising the role of Joe.

Jesse Gunn played Joe in greenlight celebration trailer and honestly I can't imagine Joe sounding different...
As for the voices - remake was started just to add them, so we can be sure it's going to be voiced :)

It's a sad thing that it was impossible to make upgraded version of the original and they had to make completely new game, but the positive thing is that it looks really nice. Although I would much prefer a new game, which is set into the same universe as Downfall and The Cat Lady.

Yes, I know that he has a new game project, but AFAIK remake of Downfall has postponed it.

Nice!
Wish I'd saw it a lot sooner. I think I said it in a different topic: The remake can only improve the original Downfall, as I found it to be rather... mediocre.
There seem to be more/new locations, which is ceertainly a plus. I do hope to be pleasantly surprised.
... or should I say "unpleasantly shocked"? ;)
