I'm not sure if this is a configuration issue on my side or a legitimate instability in the new port, but considering I've got my PC very well optimized where crashes are practically nonexistent except in cases where it's the code at fault, I wanted to report this to be sure.

As of right now, popping into the menu and selecting options has something like a 1/50 chance of either crashing the game out to desktop, or putting it in an odd state with an error box that can't be dismissed, such that I must close the game using task manager in order to shut it down at that point. It's a rather bizarre situation I've not seen with Nightdive's other ports. I ran into the most issues starting new games of "No Rest For the Living", but any time I enter the menu are start selecting options, there's a chance it'll happen. As of right now, the game's still playable, but it can be frustrating when I go to save or load and the game locks up on me instead.

I'm running the most up to date version of both the game and the OS right now, and it's still happening. In this case, it just happened when I entered the map screen.

My memory checks out fine and I have no such issues in any other game I'm running. I've got 16GB of the stuff too. I don't believe that this is an accurate error message.
