So I made a little somewhat DIY package for my follow GOG Doomers.

Its at Version 1 so any suggestions to improve it are welcome and I will be adding to it as time goes on but lets go over what V1 has:

ZDoom
GZdoom
Master Level Patch by Branden "Blzut3" Orzbut
Blue Shadow's "NC Hud"

The Master levels patch will take the master levels and make it a single wad called master.wad follow its readme for instructions I also STRONGLY recommend naming it master.wad unless you want to do some ini editing :P

I have included a single screenshot I will likely add more as I add features.
If you need help simply post or message or PM me I will do my best to help you.

Download Removed

Changelog:

GoG Doom Pack V1 09/10/2015
Includes:
GZDoom
ZDoom
Master Level Patch by Branden "Blzut3" Orzbut
NC Hud

GoG Doom Pack V1A 09/11/2015
Changes:
ZDoom INI changes suggested GoG forum user "Cyphox"
-Moved NCHud to Doom.Autoload
-Moved master.wad to Doom2.Commerical Autoload
-Prepared ini file for all in one wad folder installations.
-Removed doom2 iwad file setting (dont know how this got set.)
-Restored iwad selection window

A big thank you to Cyphox who helped point out things about the zdoom ini that I had forgotten or ignored, no new content with this one, thinking about adding Smooth Doom but more on that later.

sorry, but that config file stuff is a bit of a mess.

1: just rename the config-file you want to share to "zdoom.ini"
if you start zdoom, it will make a copy of that file with your added username, settings are all the same. no need for renaming.

2. it makes much more sense to copy all wads into one folder instead of copying zdoom into every single installation folder, cause normally zdoom will ask you for the iwad you want to load, your config doesnt do that and it has doom2 as default. not so good. and you have to set up your config and stuff just once this way cause you're using the same config-file for every game.

3. you dont need to load the master levels globally, they are for doom2, so put it under
[doom.doom2.commercial.Autoload]

4. same for the hud, its only for doom-games, not for heretic nor hexen or whatever, so put it under
[doom.Autoload]

1. I did not know that thanks for the tip.

2. I use seperate folders for all my doom games but I will add a little blurb in the readme for that for those that like having there wads in one folder.
2a. for me zdoom detects the wad file in the directory for me regardless of what is set in the config file on my machine but I will double check the config file and make edits to prevent issues.

3 and 4. I forgot completely about autoload I will make the changes for that part.

edit: Version 1A posted.

Looks very interesting. I don't have the GOG releases, but I'm pretty sure I can adapt things to work with the old commercial releases/Steam versions I have. Thanks. =)

Another little thing, the zdoom-xxx.ini wont work with gzdoom if you just copy it, you have to rename it to gzdoom-xxx.ini. or just gzdoom.ini, will work also.

(xxx would be your username)

Current versions of ZDoom and GZDoom detect the GOG IWADs from wherever they are, so there is no need to copy any of them.
So am i getting that i have to rename the Master levels cfg file to a Wad file?..........to run through ZDoom

few minutes later.....i've moved the Master levels wad file into the Doom 2 directory, Yet ZDoom isn't detecting it.

Is anyone getting annoying pop-ups with Mediafire all of the sudden? I have Adblock on Chrome and before pop-ups disappeared like the plague but now they're back.

Yes, I'm getting them now, too. For about a week I think.
Oh man thanks for the Master Levels converter! I had no idea this thing existed and I was still using that ZDLMENU thing.

No you dont. you have to just list Master.wad in the doom2 autoload. (sorry for late reply jesus wtf is wrong with me)

I got it working by drag and dropping the wad file onto Zdoom

but is there a way to play it by opening Doom 2 and it appears as a episode?.
