Is there any chance we'll see Doom 3 released on GOG with the Lost Episode included (basically the BFG Edition with 360 controller support)?

Considering Activision and the fact that it's got an source port on the way, I wouldn't be that surprised at all if it came out here. BFG and the original better be separate though.

Fingers crossed for Quake 2/3 as well. I wouldn't be surprised at all if GOG's already got all of Doom and Quake on the list for eventually rolling out.

EDIT: This post was old, we have Quake 2/3 now.

BFG Edition? Oh, please, don't.
That would be awesome!

I really enjoyed Doom 3.

pacciulli: BFG Edition? Oh, please, don't.
The BFG Edition got widescreen right, with proper fov and stuff. And its finally modable. Sikk-Mod + Wulfen Textures are possible.

But besides that, yes, the BFG Edition Vanilla is inferior in nearly every aspect. Which is something one does not easily accomplish :)
The BFG edition was more of a shooter. The original version was more of a horror game.

I found both versions to have too much contrast, but the original was so dark it was unplayable for me.
Maybe both versions will be released on GOG one day (they're both available on Steam)? We can only hope.

To me, getting Doom 3 here is not outside the realm of possibility though it may take some time.

The original Doom 3 has widescreen support, but it requires a few config edits.
I just finished The BFG Edition, i never really liked Doom 3 much but i didn't think it used that boring, but for me doom was pretty hit and miss.

As i really enjoyed the original - something always felt off about Doom 2 - Doom 3 Was a mixed bag, i did like the Resurrection of evil though - but i will see if i still agree when i play it again tomorrow.

hopefully the lost levels are good

I got more enjoyment from the Quake series

the first i do really like, the 2nd i liked but the strong are not that interesting compared to the first.

Though it would have been good to know what Quake actually would have turn out to be, as the original game give the impression that he was a living entity.

The Strogg in Quake IV were interesting and i did ;like the game.

the Quake Reboot that was thrown for the 5th entry were they go Gothic again could be interesting

I would definitely like to see the heretic and hexen games here i did like them, despite for some reason never finishing them past the 2 or 3 levels
The normal doom 3 please. Not the dumbed down bfg edition which got the lighting reduced so it would be less taxing on consoles. Normal doom 3 can be modded with a flashlight too if that is important to you.
While I wait I have Doom 3 and the XP on Steam.
I have DOOM 3 and Resurrection of Evil on CD, but would definitely buy 'em on gog.com again!
