Hi, I just bought Divinity Original Sin EE.
I downloaded it, installed it, and when I want to launch it, nothing happens. Nothing at all, not a single window opens or whatever.
So I uninstalled it and re-installed but there is no change, nothing happens when I want to launch it.
There is just the little loading sign next to my cursor when I try to launch the game (for about 5 to 10sec).

Any solution to my issue ?
I am on windows 7 x64
Sorry for my approximative language, i'm not a native english

Same problem and earlier visual solution not working for me.
Greeting

I just installed Divinity enhanced edition. However when I try to launch the program I get an error message EoCApp.exe - Entry Point Not Found: The procedure entry point TryAcquireSRWLockExclusive could not be located in the dynamic linck library KERNERL32.dll. I have tried to reinstall it I have cut off all antivirus applications. Still the same message comes up. Any Suggestion?

Please and thank you.

Unfortunately, Windows Vista is not supported; the minimum required is Windows 7 with SP1.
I am also having this exact same issue. I click play, get a 5 second "iCloud Saves being synced" message and then nothing. I have tried reinstalling the visual package mentioned but nothing changed.
So this is an old topic but incase those having this issue still has them I found a solution since I too had this problem and found a working solution that will hopefully work for others too.

You need both the 2013 AND the 2012 Visual C++ Visual Studio Packages

Here's 2012
Here's 2013

Hope it works as it fixed the launching problems for me

You, Sir, are my personal hero for today.

THX
Tried all of these suggestions and still not working... im running windows 7 home premium. both the 2012 and 2013 C++ installs went fine but the
vcredist_arm.exe wont work as it says its not compatible with 32 bit windows. im lost at this point, plz help!
Had the same issue on win 7 x64 where the enhanced edition of the game would keep crashing on launch with a "divinity has stopped working" error. in my case the cause was blocking eocapp.exe on my firewall. if you still don't want the game to access the internet, create a rule to allow localhost access for eocapp (127.0.0.1) while blocking everything else. this fixed the issue for me.
THANK YOU SO MUCH <3 I NEEDED THE VS C++ 2012
