Yes, but that doesn't change the current situation. I have stopped playing Divinity until patch comes out and it is confirmed that it fixes the game crashing bugs. I'm very early in the game and am experiencing one already while figting large pack of skeletons in the catacombs under the starting village. I'll probably just restart when the patch comes out.
this is troubling, and worrisome. i am almost done with the catacombs (I think) and so far I have crashed only once. all of a sudden i start spinning like a top and boom, screen turns black.
when i restart it suggests a setting reset, and i do so. game has continued just fine afterwards.
Have patience guys.
well so far i have played the game for ... too many hours (rubs hands) ... only 3 crashes so far. all three were not totally surprising, happened when clicking on too much too fast. wonder if perhaps things got bottlenecked in memory. bad explanation i know but you probably understand what i mean... things often crash when you put too much of a sudden load on the system (not only in DD but software in general)
right now i am wanting to go to the cursed abbey. i am afraid to because im afraid it might cause bugs.... but i heard a rumor about a portable bed that i really want to have..
but for now, i'm going to avoid it.... too much bad news. there are plenty more missions to play for now

The portable bed is in the house N/NW of the Cursed Abbey, not in the Abbey. It looks like a regular bed but you can add it to your inventory, it weighs nothing.
The Abbey doesn't necessarily cause a crash its the church north of the Abbey that has the spinning monks.
