I'm at the point in the game where I've just talked to general Alix, and fought off the Orcs.
Before proceeding further, I went back to Aleroth to heal the soldiers, as I just learned how to complete the quest. However: the healing shrine doesn't respond when I click on it, so I can't get the gem. The shrine worked fine earlier in the game. Anyone familiar with this problem?

You may have what you need in your inventory from clicking on the shrine earlier. . . . =)

I checked this, but there's nothing there. The shrine should still talk to me though, even if I had the gem, but it won't respond at all.
Figured it out: Since I had already talked to Alix, all the healers had left town, and the soldiers died, so the quest was failed. I reloaded an earlier save and did the quest.
