Has anyone attempted the Cursed Church quest yet? Everytime I go into it the ghost attacks the priest and monk but they're both spinning around in place (I don't think that's supposed to happen). Then a ghost hits the monk with a blast and nothing happens after that. I can open the quest log, map, etc. using the shortcut keys but the screen is stuck there with the priest and monk spinning in place. Eventually the game crashes but I just want to know if I'm supposed to finish another quest first before entering the church or is my game fubar'd and can I never go into the church?

I get this problem also. i've tried
- compatibility mode
- run in 640x480
- default configuration
nothing works. sometimes the bottom priest gets destroyed, but the screen still hangs and the top one is still acting like he's in some kind of disco.

I've tried those as well. I also tried downloading the patch from the website but it says that I don't have Divine Divinity installed. I also checked the patch list and a few of the bugs I've experienced in game so far are on there.
I got the one where:
- the guards on the bridge hate me for not helping them fight the trolls even though I never met them before
- Joram still talks about Mardaneus as if he's insane even though I cured him and
- the Slasher scene going wrong
I just started and this is apparently just a sub-quest and I don't mind having to start over if I can get this fixed, but I'd hate to get further and meet a game-breaking bug in the main storyline.
Can anyone send me a savegame created just before this happens? Mail it to info at larian dot com and mention my nickname in the subject, ask to forward to David.
Should indeed have been fixed, as well as all the bugs CuddlyOne mentioned.
The patch does not work on this GOG version and should not be necessary. This GOG version already has all the fixes from the patch + some more.
Still, would love to see a savegame from the church if that crashes your game.

I'm having trouble sending you the files, I'll keep trying though. Yahoo won't let me send you the e-mail for no particular reason and I tried zipping the folder but it won't attach it. I tried sending them individually but the world.000, info.000, story.000, inv.b2 and data.000 wouldn't attach. I'll try sending them from msn later.
If anyone else manages to successfully send you their save game that would help but in mine I'm standing right outside the church doors.

Cuddly: try zipping all those files.
TheCowSaysMoo: I have replied, plz check, the file bounced somewhere and didn't get through mail attachment scanners...
done, again. sorry for relatively late reply, for some reason gmail thinks your email address is spam <_<

Yeah, I tried zipping them with WinRAR but it won't do it so I winzipped them. Let me know if you got it.

Do all of you see the two characters in the church spinning before the game crashes?
