Hi all,

It appears that I somehow failed the Zandalor quest (meet him in some inn). I went to the inn and saw the other "marked one", but then I don't know what to do and the quest is set as failed in y quests list.
Also, I succeeded in going to Dr. Elath's basement, fight the djinn etc, but Dr. Elath is nowhere to be found. From walk-throughs I read, he's supposed to wait for me outside and send assassins on me. The quest about crop poisoning is not set as failed however.

I'm wondering whether I jut should start all over or is there a way to fix things ? Being lvl 22, it would be a bit annoying to restart all, particularly if I have no insurance that this will not happen again...

Any ideas ?

It's normal that you fail the Zandalor quest, there are some quests in the game where you are told to do something but when you get there it turns out you can't do whatever you're supposed to do, so you technically "fail" that quest but that's just how it's supposed to be. IIRC, the other marked one should have told you that Zandalor has gone to Stormfist Castle, so that's where you're supposed to go next to progress the main quest.

Your problem with Dr Elrath's quest does sound like a bug, but even so, there's no need to start all over again. The goal of discovering the truth behind the plague is to receive an invitation to Stormfist Castle, but this invitation can be gained from two other quests, so basically it's optional.

As rgx said, failing to meet Zandalor will not break the game, you will meet up with him later.

Be sure to take the letter and potions from Elrath's cellar as you will need both. I don't believe the assassins attack until you leave the village and make the trip relaying the info to Commander Ralph in the Headquarters of the Town Watch
