I had thought I read people who preordered as part of the Anthology got Divinity 2 today, Oct 16? Did this get changed?

People who pre-ordered get it a day early. IIRC the 16th was mentioned a week ago, but apparently that estimate has been adjusted.

On the D2:DC page it says "This game will be available for download on approximately Oct. 18", but I don't know if that means we should get it about the 17th, or people who didn't get the anthology will not be able to download it until the 19th.

I'm also interested to know this. Is it today Divinity 2 will be made available?? Could use an official word from Larian.

Larian is finalizing details with GOG, but it should be available tomorrow morning (GMT), so that would be late tonight in North America (maybe very late, depending on time zone and when in the morning it is released).

The store page for it says it's available for all tomorrow. However preorders were promised a day early. This seems abit messy...

True enough, it is available. But I am getting a "uable to fetch data, try again later!". Beginning rush, maybe?

I don't know how it looks like from Downloader side (whatever the problem, someone is certainly working on it right now), but downloading via browser should work.

Just had a 4 hour session on Dishonored, completed and came off to find this news - awesome :D Thanks guys! Downloading now.

Edit - downloader seems bugged? Unable to fetch data. Guess I'll use the browser however that's always slower :(

Unfortunately because of the unusual nature of the Divinity 2 release (the "headstart", as Thiev called it), and the way our backend works, it won't be possible to add it to the Downloader until the final release date (tomorrow).

We apologize for the trouble, however please keep in mind that the browser download option is still available to anyone with a trustworthy Internet connection and, ideally, no bandwidth cap.
