I notice in the option menu that the game states PS4 controller. I just gave it a try but the game doesn't seem to reconise my controller. Is there a way to get it to work without the use of external software or is this deigned as an option for steam?

A friend of mine plugged in a ps4 controller and it worked. He stopped using it because it kept trying to route the discord microphone to it while playing though (PS4 controller has a microphone in it). There is an option menu to pick xbox or ps4 controller.
