Raze_Larian: No, Garran is correct; you need to go to the Engineering Bay (in single player) to research either the Transport or Ironclad units before you can build a naval factory.

Alternately, the mountain dragon starts off with Warlocks researched, and the Zephyr dragon with Shamans, both of which are amphibious. These units can be used in RTS to reach islands or just cut across lakes (though need to be transported by ship in the strategy map; they can not handle the open ocean).
That's cool....I am kinda curious as to why the A.I. didn't bother to produce any more naval carriers once I knocked the three of theirs out.

Probably because you knocked the first 3 out and they couldn't build ironclads to defend new transports, so it wasn't worth building more. If they were not building many new units they could have been out of recruits. The AI on easier difficulties also doesn't use naval units very much.

I have experience a bug when you go into the throne room to talk to the representative of the races in Chapter 2, i get stuck in the first conversation you get explaining the topic of discussion (example the dwarf talks about nudity or the lizard about a murder). Then you cannot see the text to click continue or go out there in anyother way. you are stuck watching one of the representative of the races after he is finished talkning . I have tried to reload the save but i still get stuck at the same place. Any solution to this?

This happends to me on turn 15.

You shouldn't need to click 'continue' or on the text; left clicking anywhere on the screen should get you out of the counsellor's dialog.

Yeah i know but nothing works i´m stuck and cannot go back or forward even if i load a new save =/. I cannot continue with the story =(.

Ps: have trides every button on the keyboard and mouse =P.

Edit: I can go to the next turn and skipp the throne room with the counsolars and continue the campain but every time i have a meeting in the throne room i will be stuck there with no way out. I can hear the character talkning but no text and no way to go back or forward. in conclution i can continue with the campain but never enter the throne room or i will be stuck =(.

Edit 2: Yes, when you skipp the throne room it will apparently auto resolve to the majority i think. But still i cannot go in there and make my own decision or i will get stuck and have to reload a save to get out of the throne room.

I've just experienced this issue again with Command & Conquer IV.

Either coincidence that I've discovered two games recently that have to run on lower settings (and C&C IV is an old game) or maybe there is a crappy codec going around?

Balls. Looks like I do indeed have this counselor meeting bug.

Was it there before the patch or a new addition?

Maybe it's related to the graphics problem?

It appears to be a problem loading a pre-patch save in the patched game; if you reinstall the game without the patch, or start a new game, you should be able to talk to the counsellors.

Larian is working on an update to fix this; not sure if they need any additional saves, but you can email supportdc@larian.com, with a description of the problem and the report.zip file generated by the Dragon Commander support tool.
