MadyNora: Did you try holding ALT and clicking on the text "Inert Stone"?
Doh! I cannot believe I didn't do that. Got it now, went back to the Homestead and the chapel unlocked. I can get into the Source Temple. YAY! So it's official: you *have* to grab all of the inert stones to get your rooms unlocked, and getting them unlocked is what grants you access to the Source Temple (activating the stones is not enough). That's just silly.

Did you talk to the imp with the same char who had the potion in the inventory?
Yes, she's always my spokesperson/crafter/barterer.

YAY :D
Makes sense to me, since it's not the number of stones, but the amount of backstory you know is what matters.

Than I have no idea :( I killed Frederick too (he attacked me after I healed him...) and I could give the potion to the imp with no troubles.

On a side note, before you end up wasting your time like I did:
In the Source Temple if you're hopelessly stuck in a puzzle, it most possibly means that you haven't found a tiny pixel-switch, Larian just loves to hide from us >.>
There is a game-breaking bug, AFAIK it's patched, but better safe than sorry: If after opening/breaking down a certain wooden door a waypoint doesn't activate, reload the game =/

I found Frederick early on, right after killing the spider queen, and before I had even met the imp. The moment he mentioned slavery, his fate was sealed, and we killed the scumbag there and then in the desert. I have a feeling this is a bug. Other people online have reported the same problem with the imp not having any options.

Thanks for the tips, and *many* thanks for kicking my butt re. that inert stone in the Knight's Tomb. :D

I too met him a lot earlier than the imp.
I healed him with one of my own blood stones. He immediately attacked me after that. If you attacked him outside this dialogue, you *might* have messed up something O.o

Np :)

Mad3: When I level up I get skill point.
I can raise my skill from 0 to 1, but not higher (there is no + behind this skill when I level up).
But one of my followers has level 3 and is a watermage skill 2.
My char does not need more skill, but he wants to increase the skills he has (like more 1h damage).
I am also level 3, but I cannot raise any skill except from 0 to 1.

Sorry I forgot the correct in game terms for this. I hope you know what I mean.

Raze_Larian: To learn level 2 of an ability you need 2 ability points, level 3 requires 3 points, etc.

Hickory: In my experience (my characters are level 20) there is no 'etc'. You are never granted more than 3 points to spend, and therefore cannot level past 3 base points in anything. The rest must come from traits/equipments/accessories etc. I get irritated with this, because I read people online saying that their characters have 21 in such-and-such a skill, and I have never been able to get anywhere near that. For example in telekinesis my highest is 6 (3 base, 2 rings, 1 gauntlets -- those are the only items that come with telekinesis boosts). If higher values are possible, how?
Unless I'm mistaken, when leveling up a skill, gear levels don't count toward points needed.
This means that, if, for example, your crafting level is 2 and you raise it to 4 through gear, you 'll need only 3 points to level it up regardless of wether you're wearing the gear or not: the game only cares for your 'natural' level; the gear is simply a constant "+n".

So in Hickory's example, you will need 4 points to level up the character's base 3 telekinesis skill, and if you do it while wearing your gear, you will move from 6 to 7.
