I slowly get used to the controls.
I have no idea how to craft or use the anvil/forge.
I found/stole a fishing rod, no idea how to use it.
...

Graphics are beautiful, but you need to zoom too close to be able to see them that you are unable to play in a way.
You can enable in the options to turn the camera, but not adjust the height or vertical angle. This is a shame IMHO.

You can touch and/or move a lot of things.

The stories and first dungeon are good.
Standard NPC seem to have all the same dialogue, but there are some goodies like in the warehouse where you can cause trouble between them, just by talking. :)

The AI does NOT wander through damaging area, you can just click behind the burning area and the characters walk around it.

I love that you can place your own map markers:

disi: I have no idea how to craft or use the anvil/forge.
You craft by drag and dropping items over each other in the inventory, or to items in the environment. What you can craft, and sometimes the quality of the results, depends on your Crafting level, and sometimes (for metal work) Blacksmithing.

There is no fishing in the game. You can equip a fishing rod as a (poor) weapon, though.

Thanks!
Scarlett (the other character), said she saw something interesting when I walked by the anvils and forge. So I'll have to investigate that. She has crafting and can create arrows on the fly with the head and shaft.

I can also stop my experiments with the rod then :D (which seems odd, as I carry a shovel around to dig and a cooking pod to cook...)

The best one (and rather funny) for me so far is the "battered cooking pot" wearable as a helmet. The attention to detail in this game is insane.
I still don't know what the hell to do with the backpack :D

If this is what I'm thinking about you can double click on it to open it and drag&drop items in them.
This helps sorting items in your inventory.

Imarion
Well, logically, I tried that and it didn't seem to work :D

The backpack is a container, just like a chest or a barrel. You can put it into your inventory, just like most chests and barrels. You can put it on the floor or other surfaces, but be careful where you leave it. You open it and add/remove items, just like any container. If double clicking doesn't register right away, try right click / open.
Lol, my new bow :)

Is there a way to toggle the interface for screenshots?

OK, got my first serious session with a coop partner under my belt.
Gotta say, the ONLY thing putting quite a crimp in this wonderful experience is that in the lower right chat window, I can NOT read what my partner says during NPC dialogues. That text is missing. ONLY the stuff my partner's NPC dialogue partner says is displayed. As it stands, I can not follow the dialogue, and have to ask my partner what the hell happened.
It's true his text is also shown above his head, but only for about felt 0.3 seconds.

Well, I found this:
"My workaround is pretty acceptable though. Have your coop partner tell you when he starts talking to someone, then press L, and open the dialogues tab. Just follow the conversation there."

and this:
"They're working on a fix for this, when your partner is going into a dialogue alone you'll be able to click a button that pops up the dialog UI and read the history and see the choices being made in real-time."

Makes you wonder what early access of a few months is for.. maybe just for playing the game early.

There was a lot of stuff added, and balancing changes made, based on feedback from early access.

I like the Gothic/Risen style it uses, go wherever you want and back off if you get a bloody nose. Yesterday I explored outside the west gate a little and damn...

Yes, there are warning signs the area may not be appropriate for low level characters, but if you ignore them... you may get a less subtle clue.
Really liking this game so far! So many little things to play around with and figure out :D The main storyline is interesting as well, although I have not gotten very far into it yet ( Just gotten to the 1st town). Really like how they let you interact with the environment. Also, playing single player, but both characters without AI is really fun. Actually find myself very invested in who wins the rock.paper, scissors everytime. Sometimes ending up relieved and at other times with a twisted gut over what I have to do because of who won.
Not regretting my purchase one bit so far!
First impression? Few years ago I never could have imagined buying a game for 50$, and not regretting it :3

I realllly like the party AI. Finally I don't have to guide them around traps/hazards one-by-one, they know where not to step by themselves <3

The Easter eggs!! The graveyard is the golden mine of them! Just read the tombstones!! XD XD
And the humour alltogether xD

I just found a chest I couldn't open. No problem! Let's put it in my pockets, and carry it around with me until I find the key! :D
And now let's put a chest inside my chest..... xD

Haven't tried crafting.... yet :D
