Keep your Divinity: Original Sin up to date, automatically!
The new Divinity: Original Sin launcher app is up for grabs on GOG.com, and you can download it either Windows format or Mac OS X format. The launcher provides auto-patching for the game, so you don't need to monitor, download, and install the updates manually (but - if that's your preference - you still can).
The app is going to download any and all updates as soon as we upload them to GOG.com (as long as your PC is online, of course). This is one of the basic functions that will be provided by games by our upcoming optional Galaxy client. The launcher, however, is not a part of Galaxy yet (even if it has the name popping up here and there), so please don't consider it as such. Yes, it does use some of the Galaxy infrastructure, but it does not have that much to do with what we're going to introduce in the final Galaxy client.
If you're in The Witcher Adventure Game beta program and you're trying out the game, you've already got the launcher installed, you still need to grab and install this one to get an upgrade with the features dedicated to Divinity: Original Sin. You shouldn't have any problems doing so, but if some kind of conflict occurs (it is possible in very rare cases), please contact our support team.
EDIT:
The D:OS launcher will work with our releases from 2.5.0.11 onwards. If, after the launcher gets installed, you have no additional icon and / or the old one still leads directly to the game (and not the launcher), please contact our Support team and they should be able to help you.
