How can I actually use the Golden Grail? I have it in my equipment, tried to use it on other items like armour or clothing - and nothing happened. Someone mentioned a crafting menu - does the character need to know crafting?

Edit: Suddenly it started working. Well, problem solved ;) Can someone delete this please?

Another review for Source Hunter DLC

"The other content that it has just makes it look as if it all should have been included with the main game, which is where it belongs and not in a dubious DLC. I feel that should be corrected. It's only fair to those that have purchased the main game."

Why people can't understand that this DOES NOT belong into the game, that it's something extra? And it's not a big deal really, without those 2 things you are not missing much. But Larian just can't simply give it to everyone, it would not be fair to the people like me at all. Since Golden Grail has been an exclusive DLC item for buyers of Divinity Anthology box and Zandalor's Trunks are for Kickstarter backers who helped to support the development of the game. Why everyone has to act like everything should be free or included in the game? Before writing reviews like this people should at least find some facts about this.
Moreover, those 2 ingame items are not the reason why it costs 10€, it's the Soundtrack, Artbook and Design Document and maps. I would not call this a DLC but rather a Collector's Edition upgrade pack.

Nothing is extra in a game: it's in, or not. If it officially exists and could be in, and is not in, then it is missing.
Simple, everybody want his game being the more complete.

Well it would not be fair to the people like me who support the devs more than the others if everyone would just got that for free. It's a privilege for being a loyal fan I would say. I find it annoying when everybody is whining how they should have included this or that into the base game. People should stop asking the devs for something that doesn't belong to them.

And it's also just a piece of software. It's up to Larian how they will sell their game. But well, you can try to apply the same logic and go to the Microsoft and ask for Windows Ultimate edition instead of the Home premium because they were released simultaneously and everything from ultimate edition should be in the home premium too, good luck :).

Windows is not a game, for me. A function of a game, any parts, is not independant, it is not like in a software work tool.
All software part that you add for the ingame, becomes a non optional feature in the whole game.
It's some like art: a more finished version of a work is the good one.

I have been trying to use the Grail like a crafting item but the crafting menu isn't coming up. What am I missing?

It only works on armour and clothing.
The DLC is not in the $9.99 Fair Price Package codes list (or at least it's not there for me). However, I was able to get the DLC by "buying" it: instead of the credit card page it said that the game was added to my collection (and ofc the $9.99 code doesn't work anymore).

auberon2k: It may be only there for backers. I was not a backer and have been (*am anxiously*) waiting for D:OS on GOG. The GOG store page doesn't mention anything about a soundtrack, just wallpaper, avatars, Artwork and manual.

I'm regretting missing out on backing this one, the reviews I've seen make it sound amazing.

Reever: They have indeed decided to give it out to all the backers!
Larian Tweet:

After long negotiations involving reasoning, charming and intimidating, the Source Hunter DLC should now be available to all our backers!

Reever:
I backed this game through the kickstarter and chose to receive my copy through GOG. So far I do not have access to the Source Hunter DLC. I sent GOG support a message about that three days ago, but have so far not had a response. Does it normally take longer than that, or am I contacting the wrong people?

Sellswordnumber2: So far I do not have access to the Source Hunter DLC.
There was a problem with some of the codes when GOG was adding the DLC and making the game available to everyone. They sent out an email to at least some of those effected with instructions to redeem the code again.

If that doesn't help, try an account refresh:

Thank you for those suggestions, I did not receive an email prior to my post, but a subsequent response from support suggested the same thing you did; redeeming the code again. That did the trick.

Hickory: Well, I'm all patched up and those trunks still don't talk.
avatar
Raze_Larian: They should make infrequent comments about specific actions.
WHAT?????
BWHAWHAWHWAHAWHAW

NOW I FINALLY UNDERSTAND WHAT HAPPENED WITH THAT STRANGE VOICEOVER HAPPENING FROM TIME TO TIME...

And here I thought: "That didn't sound like my mage speaking..."
