So, there's an 8 MB DLC out for D:OS, named Source Hunter.

Anybody know anything about it?
Steam to the rescue:

"This DLC pack contains Divinity Original Sin Design Documents, a Divinity Original Sin Art Pack, the Divinity Original Sin Soundtrack, an in-game item called The Golden Grail (which can turn items into gold) and an in-game item "Zandalor's Trunks", magical underwear that comments on whatever is going on."

Note that the Grail does NOT turn items into gold. It purely recolours clothing and armour yellow (not gold). And the trunks don't actually comment -- I've been playing for hours and hours and never heard them comment once.

So it is even more useless than it looks.
In patch notes to just released patch is that those Trunks can talk now, though, so they should be fixed now.
So it adds things I thought was unlocked by adding my Kickstarter code, and they don't really work anyway?

Well, I'm all patched up and those trunks still don't talk. This is with a previous saved game. Don't know if you have to start a new game to make them actually work. What a joke.

They should make infrequent comments about specific actions.

Yes, very infrequent: after hours of playing with the new patch I have had four comments, one repeat, so three unique. Not quite what I expected.

Hey Raze, I don't really want to complain here, but I got the DLC even though I haven't actually backed at a price where I would be eligible for the soundtrack etc.
Is this a mistake or do Larian and GOG want to make up for the delay? :P

I don't know. That could have been part of it, or maybe it was just easier to make one version of the DLC... or maybe it is because GOG generally has soundtracks, when possible (and for D:OS the soundtrack is listed under extras, rather than the DLC).

But why would they need another DLC version? Backers get the trunks and the potion anyway....and yeah, of course GOG usually likes to have the soundtracks as a bonus, but it gets hard to do that, since soundtracks nowadays can usually be bought as an extra.

Again, it's not that I don't like the extras, but other people buying the game from somewhere else might complain (even if it's just for us GOG backers, then Steam backers will complain xD). You should try to check if it wasn't a mistake or something =)

Yes, I was planning to.

It may be only there for backers. I was not a backer and have been (*am anxiously*) waiting for D:OS on GOG. The GOG store page doesn't mention anything about a soundtrack, just wallpaper, avatars, Artwork and manual.

I'm regretting missing out on backing this one, the reviews I've seen make it sound amazing.

They have indeed decided to give it out to all the backers!
Larian Tweet:
After long negotiations involving reasoning, charming and intimidating, the Source Hunter DLC should now be available to all our backers!
I'm considering picking up the Source Hunter DLC. I'm mainly interested in the soundtrack. I do have questions regarding some of the other items that are included.

Do Zandalor's Trunks have any practical purpose?

How much on average does the Golden Grail increase the value of items?

Thank you in advance for your answers.
