This is my first time on GOG. Just started divinity II and it's awesome. So just bought original sin on here.

It's in 3 parts, do you download all three then run part 1 to install it?

Plus there are patches and other stuff as well.

Yes, you download all three parts (one *.exe and two *.bin), save them all in the same folder and then run the *.exe file. In the end, you can delete or backup all three parts.

You don't need the patches. The current full installer has been updated to the latest game version, 1.0.252.0 (shown in the main menu, under the column of buttons); the patches are for those who downloaded a previous version of the installer.

As for the other stuff, you may want the manual, at least.
