lamb-O: Every time I enter the church and the cutscene starts, the game gets stuck and the cutscene never ends.
I experienced other freezes (when fighting with Demona, for example) and solved it running the game in compatibility mode (I have Vista). But nothing works with this problem.

You are running the unpatched version of DD, look in the lower right corner of the start screen . . . it should say V1.005A. If not . . . redownload and reinstall . . . you will no longer have the problem . . .=) . . . Move your saves backup back into the new install and continue.
Make a backup of your saves. Uninstall the game and delete any folders under Program Files\GOG.com\Divine Divinity.
Download the patched setup.exe from your account and reinstall and move your saves backup into the new installation.
Edit: if you are running Vista / Win 7 make sure you right click the setup.exe and click "Run as an administrator" in the resulting dialog. After installing, right click the game shortcut, click Properties, click Compatibility tab and check "Run this program as an administrator"
