How do you access the Directs Cut stuff in Divinity 2? I've tried the F11 like it says in the video but I don't get the menu for the Directs Cut.
There are separate shortcuts for DKS and the version with the Developer Mode. With the original download for D2:DC there was an issue with the shortcut for the Developer Mode version (fixed in an update); if you have a problem, right click on the shortcut, select Properties and add bin at the end of the 'Start in' line (or delete the shortcut, browse to that folder in Windows Explorer and create a new one).
any word yet on the patch for D2:DKS to D2:DC
Anyone with the Steam version of DKS should now have D2:DC in their game library. For other versions I'll have to see if there is an update on the patch progress.

Thanks for the help. For any others who don't know, when you go to the bin folder for Divinity 2 you'll see the icon for Divinity2.exe and Divinity2 - debug.exe. You'll need to click on the debug for the developers cut for the game.

What version of the game do you have?

If you bough D2:ED or DKS from Steam, or if you bought FoV or DKS from the Larian Vault, you should have D2:DC added to your games list.

If you have the PC retail version of D2:ED or DKS, you can email support at Larian dot com with your SecuROM key to get a voucher for D2:DC from the Larian Vault.

I bought DKS digital download from D2Drive which has since been bought by GameFly. I went ahead and sent an email in.
Thanks

But if i bought it on GoG I wont get it on steam ?

Would be cool to have DD games on steam too heheh

Really awesome games specially DD1.. feels dark heheh

Playing DD2 at moment and so far I like it aswell! but it´s too light for DD game haha.
The retail version of the anthology contains Steam codes, but the GOG releases do not.
I've also the problem to activate the Direcor`s Cut content. Pressing the F11 - button isn't working.
I bought the game over gog and play the german version.
Any solution?

And I´m sorry in advance, my English and pc-knowledge aren't very well.
So please be simple.
There are 2 executables for the game Divinity2.exe (normal DKS) and Divinity2-debug.exe (with the Developer Mode). The Start menu should have shortcuts for both versions, but the install program may have only put a shortcut for the normal version on the desktop.

In the main menu when you start the game is there a warning that using the Developer Mode can cause problems with the game? For example you can teleport past quests and cutscenes or otherwise do things out of order (cheats like giving your self equipment, stats or skills should not cause any problems).

If you don't see a warning, then you are playing the regular version. Check the Start menu folder for the game and run the Developer Mode version.

If you get the warning then you are running the version with the Developer Mode. If you are playing on a laptop you may need to hit a function key plus F11 to open the cheat menu window.
I found the data Divinity2-debug.exe but when I launch it Windows tells me the program isn't working. Causing a problem the program can't be executed.
Can you run the Divinity2.exe executable directly? Did you try running the debug executable as administrator?

What is the exact error message, and does Googling it bring up any similar situations with suggestions you can try?

You could try reinstalling the game...
I reinstalled the game and started the the debug-exe as adminstrator but it isn't working.

And giving you the exact error message in Englisch isn't easy because mine is in german. But the message in Englisch should be like in my post before.

"Divinity 2 isn't working anymore. Causing a problem the program can't be executed correctly. The program will be closed."
I'm not sure why just the version with the Developer Mode would give an error.

Try emailing support@larian.com, with a description if the problem, error message and game version info. Attach the report.xml file created with the Divinity 2 support tool, as well.
