Hi - anyone help me here? Just installed D2 Director's Cut and started a new game. Hit F11 but no cosole opens. Tried shutting out of game and open again but no go. Any ideas! Many thanks

There are 2 shortcuts for the game, one for the regular executable "Divinity 2 Developer's Cut", and one for the version with the cheats enabled "Divinity 2 (Developer Mode)".
Check the Start menu folder; IIRC just the standard version gets a Desktop shortcut. With the Developer Mode version, there is a warning in the main menu screen on the left side that cheating can break the game (ie if you skip past main plot quests, etc; equipment / stat / level /etc cheats shouldn't cause any problems, other than possibly making the game too easy).

If you copy and rename the shortcut for the standard version
Then change the shortcut's properties:
Change the "Divinity2.exe" part of the target to "Divinity2-debug.exe"
Then you can have a shortcut for both.
